The Power House Rental

The Power House

The Power House was built in 1910 to furnish heat and electricity to the entire Campus through an underground piping system. Destroyed by a fire in 1997, there was little remaining of the original structure. Through tireless efforts and generous community support, the Roycroft Campus reconstructed the building in 2012. Today it houses the M&T Bank Visitor Center and the Neil & Barbara Chur Family Gallery, and also serves as a venue for special events.

An industrial styled, state-of-the-art facility with three independent yet adjacent areas, the Power House combines a unique blend of “the old and the new” to create an inspiring setting for any event. It offers reminders of its historic significance from large scale murals of the original coal boilers, to a "Sanborn map" superimposed on the floor to represent the original 1910 layout of the building. Together these spaces are perfect for wedding ceremonies/receptions, bridal/baby showers, corporate retreats, and other special events.

The Assembly Room

Accented with an original wall from the 1910 structure, this space is complete with vaulted ceilings, serving areas, and offers audio/visual projection capabilities. It is ideal for business meetings, lectures or presentations, and private parties.

The Loft - Neil & Barbara Chur Family Gallery

This sunny and spacious area has vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors and expansive windows making it perfect for smaller parties, luncheons and social gatherings. Throughout the year, the Roycroft Campus showcases several art exhibits in this space, which can add an aesthetic atmosphere to your special event.

The Executive Conference Room

This glass-enclosed, elevated meeting space with a kitchenette and state-of-the-art media amenities is well suited for board room style meetings and other small group seminars. The conference table ideally seats 16 to 18 people.

The M&T Bank Visitor Center

In 2014, the M&T Bank Visitor Center was opened in the foyer of the Power House giving guests a glimpse of the history of the Campus. The space also showcases an array of original artifacts, offering a unique experience for anyone attending your event.
